Aiming to create public awareness on road safety issues and traffic rules, Radio Hirakhand launched a Road Safety Awareness Campaign, Sadak Surakhya Jiban Rakhya with Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India. The target group members were all road users residing in Sambalpur city of Odisha. More specifically, we focused on most venerable groups such as pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, young drivers and older road users etc. We adopted spoken word formats such as radio talk, interview, discussion, documentary, drama, magazine etc. for making of the contents more informative and interesting.
